Electrical Company Hires GPRS Prior to Core Drilling into Concrete Slab

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. – GPRS – of California was contacted by an electrical company to locate rebar in 9 locations prior to core drilling. We found that the slab was 8” thick and consisted of 2 layers of rebar. We scanned 2 areas in each location to provide piece of mind and options for the contractor to drill in. We used our Palm antenna and to locate all the rebar and used blue tape to mark the findings.
