In January of 2014 Sam Heisman of GPRS St. Louis surveyed a cell phone tower near Festus, MO. A local contractor needed to install anchor bolts for stabilization. With Ground Penetrating Radar and Radio Detection, Sam was able to find a number of electrical lines. The bolt locations were moved and the project proceeded on time. No neighboring businesses were interrupted during the survey since GPR emits less radiation than that of a cellphone; it does not emit harmful radiation, produces virtually no noise, and will not disturb equipment or facility workers.
