Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. – GPRS – of Southern California was contacted by a general contractor in order to locate utilities in multiple areas prior to installing a new sewer line. A trenching path totaling approximately 1,000 linear feet was scanned, and any utilities found in the area were marked on the surface with spray paint.
GPR mapping is a great tool to scan underground anomalies such as voids, underground storage tanks (UST’s) and underground piping. It can also be used to locate post tension cables, rebar, and conduits. GPRS has offices throughout the entire state of California and performs projects in cities such as; Murrieta, La Jolla, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Menifee, Temecula, Escondido, El Cajon, La Mesa, El Centro, Palm Springs, San Diego, North County, Inland Empire, and San Clemente.
