Underground Utility Locating at Mercy Hospital – Springfield, MO

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Kansas City was hired by Beck to assist in finding underground utilities in the footprint of the new construction at the Cox South Hospital in
Springfield, MO.

Our technician was able to locate several utilities in the area of the expansion giving the contractor valuable information to assist in the excavation process. GPR is a not destructive way of locating utilities that can provide accurate depths that can be very helpful when starting any excavation. GPRS uses both GPR and a radio detection wand to help to help give a more complete investigation of potential utilities.
