Water Line Break Over a Weekend Requires the Rapid Response of GPRS

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems Project Manager, Joseph R. Granados of El Paso Texas was contacted recently for an emergency at a local elementary school over the weekend. GPRS takes great pride in servicing locations within a 48-hour period, any day of the week. A water line had busted in the parking lot and the sub-contracting company wanted to make sure that the area was scanned before they excavated. Utilizing GPRS minimizes the risk of striking a utility. GPRS used ground penetrating radar to locate and map out the utilities before any excavation began. The area was scanned for utilities such as water lines, electrical lines, telecommunication, fiber lines, gas lines and sewer. All of the utilities were mapped on site, painted on the surface (with depth) to signify the location of the utility beneath the surface, and pin flagged. The sub-contracting company was able to clear the location without disrupting any live-utilities, or injuring any of their employees, thanks to the locate work completed by GPRS.
