When Existing As-Built Plans are Inaccurate GPRS Provides an Accurate Record of Utilities

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Virginia was utilized to detect underground utilities at a shopping center in Chesterfield, VA.  The existing as-built plans were inaccurate. GPRS Project Manager Josiah Donaldson verified the location, depth, and direction of 60+ utilities on site that were pot-holed with no issues. In addition, a CAD file was generated along with an aerial image overlay to give the customer accurate existing records of utilities to the sub-meter level.

GPRS of Virginia performs GPR concrete and ground scanning to locate underground storage tanks, utilities, and subsurface anomalies. Whether you are locating utilities or satisfying the bank’s questions about any subsurface surprises, GPRS has your answers.  For UST and utility locating projects in Richmond, Williamsburg, or Virginia Beach, VA contact Josiah Donaldson at josiah.donaldson@gp-radar.com or call 804-393-8744 or 757-319-1903.  For a listing of our nationwide locations, visit www.gp-radar.com.
